Junior Trader - Synthetic Equity Finance

Major banking institution is seeking a Junior Trader for its Tokyo office. This presents a great opportunity to gain exposure to the Equity SWAP business, which will grow exponentially over the coming years. Opportunity to build a client base and gain experience of global markets.
See below for the requirements:

* Trade support services experience, ideally gained in a similar role with a trading desk.
* General understanding of Equity SWAPS and the mechanics of resets and unwinds
* Understanding of dividends and corporate actions and how they are processed
* Understanding of cash and stock reconciliations
* Good degree of numeric, accuracy and an eye for detail, and the ability to “see the big picture”.
* Proactive and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Confidence, communication and presentation skills to grow into a role with significant exposure to external clients and senior traders / management.
* Knowledge of Bloomberg or Reuters.
* Japanese and English, verbal and written
* JSDA Series 1 Registration
* Analytical skills with good attention to detail
* Strategic focus and commitment to teamwork
